Tell us something about this design.
Well this is one of my first design. I literally love the movies from Studio Ghibli and Totoro is one of my favorite character of all time.
Who is and where does Bearded Manatee come from?
About 3 years ago I’ve met a Manatee in a rainforest biopark and I chose that giant sea cow as my personal spirit guide. Plus I like things with lots of hair and fur… I think those are the reasons behind my name.
How long have you been in the t-shirt world?
One year, more or less.
What would you suggest to an aspiring t-shirt designer?
I think that studying other artists is a good way to improve our personal ability. Personally I follow a lot of great artist from all over the world, it’s a good method, and it’s really inspiring.
What’s a day in the life of Bearded Manatee like?
