Knowledge is power. The only difference between today’s big companies (and totalitarian governments) and Big Brother is that the technologies they use to track us are much more advanced. And the difference between us and Winston Smith is that we give our information to them voluntarily.
Who is and where does Aliriza come from?
I teach visual arts in a public school in Turkey (this is why I can’t work full-time in the design business). My reason for joining t-shirt world as a designer is: unfortunately, the people of the country we live in do not value art as it deserves.
The parents of my talented students don’t want to let them go to a Fine Arts High School (and a highly successful school) near us.
I want to prove to them they did wrong: money can be earned by making art!
For that you need to work hard and improve yourself.
In a nutshell, I wanted to set an example for my students.

How long have you been in the t-shirt world?
Approximately 1.5 years.
What would you suggest to an aspiring t-shirt designer?
To be able to do quality art, you have to watch-read-listen to quality art.

You are the governor of the world. What’s the first thing you would do?
I’d share my power. Because power corrupts you, absolute power absolutely corrupts whoever has it.
You’ve just won a DeLorean time machine. Which historic period/time/moment would you like to visit?
I would go to the moment when European explorers took their first steps to the Americas. I used to hand out health masks and gloves to the people off the ship. So I could stop them from infecting the natives of the continent with smallpox and causing the death of 90% of the population.
