Tell us something about this design.
It was born 4 years ago, for a contest promoted by Roberto Recchioni on his blog: http://prontoallaresa.blogspot.it/2011/09/star-wars-contest-i-vincitori.html Since then i’ve improved it, waiting for the right occasion to produce it in a t-shirt form of life. Here it is.
Who is and where does Ciro Trezzi come from?
I’m a graphic designer and i was born in Magenta. You can think It was destiny, but then, not everywhere who was born in Magenta is a graphic designer, so that doesn’t mean anything.
How long have you been in the t-shirt world?
Since I started drawing, I always thought about making t-shirts. It’s pretty natural for an illustrator. Since 2012 I started dealing on scree-printing myself, with www.associazionemur.com. We are mainly in the education area, but we do some small self productions. I preferred to ask the help of Tee Tee cause I strongly believe in the pop value of this design and I would like to share it with everyone.
What would you suggest to an aspiring t-shirt designer?
To grasp at least the basic of screen-printing. Being the best graphic designer in the world doesn’t prepare you for the limits and opportunities of screen-printing. Knowing what you’re dealing with helps you making better design.

It’s all about looking at images and creating my share of them.
