Who is and where does gonenlisalih come from?

I’m “part time” student, “full time” illustrator from Turkey. :)

How long have you been in the t-shirt world?

I submitted 10-15 designs to other sites four years ago. Then I had to give a break like a three years because of school works. Now, I’m designing and submitting to shirt sites regularly since August 2012.

What would you suggest to an aspiring t-shirt designer?

Do not compare yourself to other artists. I think that’s the biggest mistake in art career.

What’s a day in the life of gonenlisalih like?

Get up early, attend the class, take an exam…. etc. After the school, make a great tea or coffee and draw until the midnight.

Mac or PC?

Unfortunately PC. When I’ll get a lot of money from somewhere (Mac prices are two or three times higher on Turkey) I’ll definitively buy a Mac.

You’ve just won a DeLorean time machine. Which historic period/time/moment would you like to visit?

It would be Mesozoic Era just for dinosaurs.
